Kyle Larson seems to be unbeatable, notching his third consecutive race win (Fourth win including the All-Star race). A race high of 264 laps led during the Ally 400 showed Larson's dominance throughout the day as he led early in the race and often on route to his fourth win of the season. as the laps winded down in Nashville, Larson may have had 99 problems but fuel mileage wasn't one of them.

For the first time in almost a decade NASCAR made it's return to Nashville Superspeedway and with no practice or qualifying, there were lots of surprises throughout the day. Quin Houff brought out the first caution of the day as a tire fell off due to not being tight on from the start. Chase Briscoe had an impressive showing running second and challenging for the lead from Larson in the second stage but ultimately bringing out a caution later in the race by getting into the wall. other incidents throughout the day included Ryan Blanley getting into the wall and Ryan Preece spinning out in turn three during stage 1.

Hendrick Motorsports teammates William Byron and Chase Elliott came close to challenging for the race lead and win but Larson was just too good for the field in NASCAR's return to the music city. This win brings Larson withing 10 points of the regular season championship as Denny Hamlin hangs on to the slim lead.
