"The Most Fun Race I've Ever Been In!" - Ty Gibbs wins @ The Glen
The Xfinity race at Watkins Glen Speedway on Saturday was dominated by race winner Ty Gibbs. In only his tenth career NASCAR Xfinity start, the young grandson of NASCAR Hall of Famer Joe Gibbs led 43 laps in the SKREWBALL PEANUT BUTTER WHISKEY 200 en route to his third series victory. "Thank you to the man above. That was probably the most fun race I've ever been in. AJ (Allmendinger) and the 7 (Justin Allgaier) and the 22 (Austin Cindric), those guys are very experienced veterans in this racing series. To be able to race and beat them it just means a lot and I learned a lot from them too!" When asked about his dominating performance by NBC's Dillon Welch, Gibbs expressed additional gratitude.
