Unable to join the meeting at first due to a computer/phone error, Tyler Reddick humorously joked he was glad nobody could see him. He was smiling and energetic through his entire event with the press today.  It didn't take long for him to get into the big details that make him feel like he is a true contender for the playoffs. Tyler Reddick has a lot to be thankful for this NASCAR Cup Series season.  With two races remaining before the start of the playoffs, he sits 28 points above the cut-line.  Considering his #8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet team’s recent form on the track, he has a lot of reason for optimism.   “I think we’re running good enough to make it through the first round, and have a really good shot at fighting and making it through to round three.  Honestly, we’re right in that window,” Reddick told the media on Wednesday.  He pointed to the fact that they had dug themselves a bit of a hole at the start of the season, saying “We’ve had a really good turnaround from five or six races in, I think it was Atlanta, we were 32 nd or 33 rd in points, […] we’ve ran really really well I feel like for many months now in this season.”   However, Tyler Reddick’s playoff spot is far from guaranteed.  He’s currently in a battle with RCR teammate Austin Dillo...

With the Indianapolis 500 this weekend it got the NASCAR fan in me thinking. Which NASCAR drivers would I like to see in the Indy 500. The quick answer is all of them, but I made a list of my top 5 picks and an honorable mention. Honorable Mention- Joey Logano... Joey Logano makes this list for three reasons. The first being his thrilling driving style, and aggressive nature. Logano for better or for worse is a true star of the show type of driver and NASCAR fans would watch that. The second reason is the fans perception of Logano. There’s only a few people who are truly in the middle with their opinions of Logano his polarizing nature would be a massive draw.
